Queen's Main Hall

Queen’s Hall Main Hall is a versatile room that can be adapted to accommodate a myriad of events. It allows users to hold private and commercial functions which allows access to the stage area for bands or acts to ensure your event has the potential to reach all members of your party.

Set in the stunning grounds of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, in the popular Moortown area of North Leeds, the grounds provide the perfect backdrop for wedding or family photographs in addition to providing ample car parking space.

This hall has plenty of light and ventilation with its electric Velux roof windows providing and fresh & vibrant look. It can accommodate up to a maximum of 200 people. This hall provides a choice of lighting options from bright to subdued, it has a new wood floor, large stage, sound system, projector, fairy lights, stage lights, with connected access to a large fully equipped and stocked kitchen, which includes oven, microwave, kettle, constant hot water boiler, crockery, cutlery, and a double sink. It also has a serving hatch from the kitchen into the main hall, and the rear kitchen door leads to a dedicated car parking space so that catering items can be brought easily and directly into the kitchen area.

We also have a large stage and surround sound system with microphone.

Where events are using 3rd Party Service Providers, e.g. for Bouncy Castles or DJ’s, we will require a copy of their Public Liability Insurance and PAT Testing Certificates.

Dress To Impress.

You can elevate your event by selecting from our range of optional extras to dress the hall adding that extra wow factor.

Choose from our round or rectangular white linen tablecloths along with white chair covers and add a splash of colour. You can design the room to match your party theme. Whatever you decide, we can tailor your event to your budget.

Tailored Packages

Having a bar license, a hall capacity for 200 people, the hall bar allows you to transform your event to the next level. With fully-trained staff and a well-stocked bar which serves both the Main Hall and the Bar Lounge, together with our bespoke service to source specific bar drinks for your event and a wide range of both alcoholic and soft drinks, plus speciality hot drinks and snacks, we are confident this key optional extra will enhance your event.

By tailoring your package to meet your specific needs for the big day, we are also able to provide a variety of optional extras so you can budget and plan your big event.  Choose from a range of optional extras such as sound system, projector, tables tennis, bar/staff hire, or a welcome drinks packages., Other items include tablecloths, buffet cloths, table displays, chair covers, coloured voiles which can be used as decorations, table runners or chair bows. We also have mirrored table tiles, which are often used as the base of a guest table centre piece, glass carafes which you can use as vases or water/juice jugs, and a plentiful supply of drinking glasses & wine glasses. We have large glass goldfish bowls and smaller tea-light holders, both of which can be used for a multitude of decorative inserts. Where time is limited, you may also choose the option for a dedicated dress and undress service for the table and chairs so that the chairs and tables will be dressed by our staff using the afore mentioned materials that you hire. Lastly, you can simply hire our staff to assist you during your event, allowing you focus on the important aspects of your event, family and friends.

You can rest assured in the knowledge that your event is managed by thoughtful and caring staff who are trained to the highest standards of customer care.

Within the cost of hall hire you will have use of the kitchen, tables, chairs, highchairs and kitchen contents.

We also provide ample car parking within the grounds, free WIFI, disabled toilet, baby change area, and all areas of the building are wheelchair-accessible.

This is a fully licenced  venue. Alcoholic drinks are not to be brought in or consumed on these premises. Drinks can only be consumed on the premises that are supplied from the bar. Terms relating to this are specified on the Booking Form which you will sign when you agree to a booking at Queens Hall. You are welcome to bring your own provisions for tea & coffee which you may serve from our kitchen to your guests.

The grounds of Queen’s Hall are not included within your hall hire and are a privately owned area, however we are happy to allow the use of the grounds for photographs.
