About

Vianney Venues is linked to the parish of St John Vianney based in North Leeds following the merger of the two local parishes in 2012, St Paul’s in Alwoodley and Immaculate Heart of Mary in Moortown.   Vianney Venues offers two parish halls over two sites, each set within their own grounds offering an alternative venue for private or commercial functions.  Each venue comes with ample car parking facilities.

The team members of Vianney Venues are second to none, from the volunteers of the Trustees and the Committee, as well as a professional management team and support staff.

The demand for alternative venues offering a space for families and communities to gather outside the City Centre of Leeds continues to grow and with our dedicated team and the glorious settings of the halls, we provide the perfect venue that allows you to tailor your event to your specific requirements and to your budget.

With our licensed premises at The Queen’s Hall, it is seen as the perfect addition when catering for large events attracting a wider audience from across North Leeds.  The major events include charities looking for venues that not only offer large space for up to 200 people, but a range of services to help their event by providing that extra touch to allow them to raise vital funds for their cause.

The Kings Coronation Event in May 2023 saw the parish halls come together as a community to mark this occasion with the parishioners and Parish Priest of St John Vianney.

Vianney Venues brings together both The Queen’s Hall and St Paul’s Hall which continue to provide a vital service to its local community working with a wide range of groups, including cultural groups like The African Caribbean Community, groups catering for our young audiences such Mums and Tots Group, Little People and Tiny Talk. Other groups include Karate Classes for the active younger members, not forgetting Brownies, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.  For our older audience we have the Table Tennis group, Pilate classes and Fit To Thrive for older joints, as well as Coffee Mornings, Circle of Friends and Chatterbox Stitches group with Bingo events and Quiz Nights. You can see all our regular events on the Regular Events Page.

We also have live music with our House Band, The Black Tail Fox Band, who play regularly at our parish events and, Queen’s Folk, our folk group who meet fortnightly at the Queen’s Hall on Sunday nights.
